in Digital technique

This time I had a little help from my friend Cristina (she is so much expert with fashion than me), and I really like this outfit! I think is better than the older one, maybe is because of her help ahah!
Just 24 days and then... it's CHRISTMAS DAY! I really love Christmas and holiday!
I really hope you like this pic, I'm going to post something in the next days, see you soon!

Thank you, Naruto!

So, here I am today to announce that Naruto is actually ended!
This is one of the manga that accompanied most of my life, especially my preadolescence (I feel so old right now, ahahah!), and I'm really sad that is ended. To celebrate this goal, and to thank Kishimoto-sensei for this awesome manga, I made this:

"Thank you, Naruto."
in Digital technique

Thanks to Masashi Kishimoto who gave life to one of the most influential characters of these years, and thanks to Naruto too, because he gave me strength in difficult moment, and kept up with my dreams, because every dream can come true!
So, a big thank!

Also, after this, today I passed a really important exam, the first for the driving license! In about a month I will have another one, but for the moment this is it,no problems anymore, that means that finally I can come back drawing and reading all day long! School's also a big problem, because I have to study, but for me is less difficult than studying for  the driving license ahahah! One last thing: I will be at Mestre Comics on DECEMBER 7th 2014 and I will take Mirai Kuiyama from Kyoukai no Kanata, so I hope to see many of you there! It's a month away from now, but I'm really happy of this last comicon, so I can't really wait!

(cheers for my exam!)

See you in the next days with a new post on this blog, and everyday on my facebook page!

"Halloween 2014"
in Digital technique

Recently I'm working hard to make some great backgrounds, because I'm just a beginner with them. I've made some drawing this summer, but never post them here. Maybe I should do it. But next time, when I complete the princess cycle of illustration.
Tomorrow I'm going to submit the new-month illustration (Welcome November) so stay tuned!

#Inktober initiative

Hi guys!
I've been away for a month because I had a lot to do with school and stuff for Lucca Comics & Games!
But now I'm here again, and I will submit all the things I haven't write in this month.
I start with the #Inktober challenge!
You can read more about the initiative here: http://mrjakeparker.com/inktober

I have drawn something everyday for 31 days, all with ink (pen, digital, this doesn't matter), and this is the result: a summary of my #Inktober, but you can find all the work complete at this page.
It was been really hard to complete all, because usually I don't have time to scan the picture, but at the end I've made all, and I'm really happy of the result! You can also see that my style is really flexible, and I can do almost everything. Also I'm really fast at learning a new type of illustration, or style of art, or colouring.

I do not submit all the drawings here because they are too much, so If you are interest to see them click the link above here!

I hope you enjoy my artwork!

Back to school!

Oh yes, today I'm back to school for my last year at the college! I'm so so happy to meet my classmate again after three month of summer, and I can't wait to meet some new students!
After this: I have 2 new illustration to show to you!
The first one (just to stay in theme) is this:

"Back to school with Robert Langdon"
in Digital technique

Come back to school is hard also for our teacher, and I thought that Robert Langdon could be the right character to represent this ahahah! I wish I could have a professor like this: he is just awesome!!
I did not made the background (because of school), I hade not the time for do it! But I hope you will like it anyway!
The second illustration is this:

 "Gou"
in Digital technique

I've made this illustration for a friend of mine: she had her birthday yesterday, and she really like Free! so I have drawn Gou Matsuoka (because she is really really adorable, like my friend!)

I hope you will enjoy my today and yesterday artwork, in these next days I will have homework and other many things to do, so I will not be so present! Oh, and tomorrow is my brithday! Can't really wait, I'm so happy!

Have a nice day too! ~

Holiday, festival and work

Hello everybody!
I've do soo many things in these days of absence from the blog: I went to a convention in Forlimpopoli and I've visited Solarolo too, I enjoy a lot on my last holiday trip, and travel with the train is so funny!
After this, I just want you to know that tomorrow (Saturday 13th September) I take some of my work to an event in Bassano del Grappa called Be#Young. It's a festival dedicated to girls and boys between 16 and 26 years old, but everyone can join here! It'll be funny, so I wait you at the #BeArt stand, where I'm going to take my work: I'll be there from 3.00 p.m. until 5.00 p.m.! There will be also music, games, cosplays, food, and a relax-zone where you can chat with your friends or eat something, or just lay down here and doing nothing. I hope for good weather too, because we'll be at the park!
But among all these beautiful things, I've made this illustration today:

 "Eveline"
in Digital technique

In the past days I had a lot to do for the Be#Young festival, and also many and many commission to do, but I've found some little time and I've made this for a contest by Nyesis.
The caracter is Eveline, a girl quite troublemaker but cute and so sweet! I really hope you like it, because this take me so much time :)
Well, let's see you tomorrow, bye!

p.s: Tuesday will be my 18th birthday, can't waaaiit!

Inferno

THIS MAY CONTAIN SPOILER

Like the heading say: I've start reading Dan Brown's Inferno.
I really like the character of Sienna Brooks, she is so mysterious and I want to know more about her! Also I want to know more about Robert Langdon loss of memory: what happened to him?
This book remind me of the precedent, and in particularly to Angels & Demons, probably because Sienna is so similar at Vittoria, and the story take place in Italy, my home nation. I really loved this book and especially Vittoria Vetra's character: she is so sexy and charming! Absolutely my favorite of the Langdon's women! So, after thinking that, I've made this:

 "Yoga master"
in Digital technique

If you haven't read Angels & Demons this must contain spoiler.
This is probably one of my favorite scene of the book, the last word of Vittoria Vetra. Her and Robert are at the Bernini's Hotel in Rome and she said "You've never been to bed with a yoga master, have you?".
I think that these word show the exactly personality of Vittoria: adventurous and resourceful.
Also she is my favorite one, so I prefer her to Katherine Solomon or Shopie Neveu.

This is my last post on the blog since the next week: I will be away this week-end for my last summer travel! I hope I will enjoy a lot with my friends, and obviously, my travel mate will be Inferno.

I've made also a self-portrait with me and my favorite book, you know that is The Da Vinci's Code?

Welcome September!

September is here!
Yesterday was a really great start of the month: I've made a drawing for celebrate this beautiful start.

 "September fashion 2014"
in Digital technique

I've tried ispiration from the work of Victoria Ying: she is one of my favorite artist! In this work I would like to rapresent the style of this next month, with color inspired by the autumn, because it's almost time!
I suppose I will do something like this for the next months, it's funny working with a different style sometimes :)
Well, after all this things: I will be away from my computer on Saturday and on Sunday, and these next days are full of work to do, so the next post will be a little distant (not so much, maybe the next week!).

Have a nice day everyone!

Summer's (almost) end

The summers is at the end, and so my holiday!
Is such a long time since the last post on the blog and I'm so sorry about it, but between the Rimini convention and the work I had so much to do: If you follow my facebook page you also know that my computer was broken this last month so I was really unproductive in these last weeks. I drawn a lot on my sketchbook, of course, but I spend many and many time at make costume for the convention, the next is this week-end. I will post here some drawing I've done in these three months, and at soon I will start to take more seriously my blog (eheheh!).
Okay, so let's start!

 "Romeo and Juliet"
in Digital technique
18th May 2014

This is really really old! I've improved a lot on this style of painting in the last month, so, please, go down and check the newest picture because they are really better!

 "Kimono Girl"
in Digital technique
3rd July 2014

Starting from this pic I've changed my brushes on Photoshop and the quality is different and more beautiful than the older pic. This was the first try with the new brushes, but with the time I've learned better how to use them.

"If you cand DREAM it, you can DO it"
in Digital technique
7th July 2014

Another experiment with the new brushes. The quote is by Walt Disney, and it's one of my favorite quote of every time: always belive in your dreams!

 "Arabian Night"
in Digital technique
15th July 2014

This was of the latest pic before the Rimini Comix convention, and it was the rapresentation of one of the cosplay I've taked here! I made it with 2 different bacground, I don't know wich is better, tell me your opinion! Also, I show you some photo of the final cosplay, do I look a little similar to her?
The character is Gou Matsuoka from the anime "Free!"

Photo by Agostino Curto and Enrico G. Munari. All the credits for the photos belong to them.

I've also take to the convention another character, Gou's brother: Rin Matsuoka, from the same series.
This is two of the photo I had, I really like how the costume is come out, I think is pretty good!

Photo by Federica Vinci and my friend Arturo. All the credits for the photos belong to them.

 "Honey Lemon"
in Digital technique
16th July 2014

I can't wait for Disney's "Big Hero 6", coming out this winter in Italy, so I've made one of the character: she is Honey Lemon! I really like the Marvel's one, but in this style is so much cute and colorful and I can't resist at her design!

 "Four Little Parrot"
in Digital technique
28th August 2014

This story is a little awkward: some days ago I went to my friend Ilaria's house, and I saw this beautiful picture made by my friend's mother:

and i thought they were similar to some little parrot, and so I've drawn them!

I suppose these are all the best work I've made this summer, they look so fresh don't you think? After all this summer was really cold and I went to the sea for just three days: not so much! This week-end I'm going to Forlimpopoli for another convention and to visit some of my friends, then I have one other week before I start again school!
In these following days I will submit other work and sketches and I will add some information about a festival I will partecipate on the 13th September (more info here).

p.s: I also start watching Community! Is awesome!

Disney's Kingdom

Saturday night at home: probably the most saddest thing in the whole world! Unfortunately It's not my intention being here, I'm not happy to have fever only in the week-end! :(
I take this time to talk about some of my works. The topic in common is (like the title of this post) Disney characters!
I really like Walt Disney's movie since I was a child, especially the songs (I used to sing them when I was a little girl - oh wait, I still do it -). But of course, like most of the girls I also loved princess too. And (again) I still do it. Working for the Disney company is probably my first and biggest dream!
But wait, I'm talking a lot about me and not about my artwork (it's fever fault, I swear!) so, let me introduce you some drawing I've made in these days:

 "The Little Marmaid"
in Digital technique

Drawing made for a contest some days ago, if you want to vote me, click 'like' on this photo

Another one: this time made for my BFF's Birthday!

"The color of the wind"
in Traditional technique

My friend Cristina love a lot Pochaontas, so I've made for her this little birthday-card! I do it really quickly because I've not so much time to work in these days (a lot to study!), so there are so much mistakes, and you can see them in the particular:

For this work I've used a new type of recycled paper, it was funny, and the color are so beauty!

And at least, the today's work:

 "You always get in trouble!"
in Digital technique

Some days ago I was really bored during a lesson, and I've made this in traditional with colored pencil. But the finish result was not really beauty, and I decide to make it better on digital.
It's a sort of representation of my life (I suppose) because I'm always get in a sort of trouble XD

Well, I don't know what to talking about anymore, I think now I'm going to reading something (I'm actually reading Freud!) or watching TV, my head it's about to explode ahahah!

Goodnight to everyone who have read!

Illustration Friday - Revenge

Good sunday-morning to everyone!
Today I want to talk about "Illustration Friday". What is Illustration Friday?
Illustration Friday is a website where every friday come out a new weekly topic. You have to take ispiration from this topic and make art! Simply and funny, don't you think?
I've tried for the first time this week, and the topic is "Revenge".
So I've made this:

"Sweet Revenge"
in Digital technique

Also there's a little particular that you can't see as well in the drawing

She hold a knife covered by blood.
What about the interpretation?
The girl look quite and sweet, she hold with the left hand her cello, and she have also a lovely smile on her face. But two particular tell us another story: the knife in her right hand, wich is not visible at all; and the flowers on the back. The flowers are Aconites, that they represent the revenge.

And you, what do you think about this artwork?

Budapest Hotel and Contest

A late post, tonight!
Today I've seen this beautiful film by Wes Anderson, The Grand Budapest Hotel. I reccomend this film to everyone, is so funny, and there are awesome actors!

But, after all, I'm not here to talk about this amazing film (yeah, probably I can talk a lot about this but, ehy, this is an art blog, or not?). Today, before start watching Grand Budapest, I do this drawing:

"Finally the open air"
in Digital technique

The character is Ginevra, by the sweet and talented Nike (go and like her facebook page!), and this is for a contest. So, if you would like to help me, go on this link and click 'like'.

Talking about the artwork, I only like to say that I've tried ispiration from Brittney Lee's work, like always, I've nothing to say in particolar XD
Well, I hope you like it, please help me winning this contest, and share it with your friends!

sabato 19 aprile 2014

Let's have some tea!

Goodmorning everyone!
Today I want to talk a little bit about my last work:

"Let's have some tea with Mad Hatter!"
in traditional technique

This is a little greeting card for my dear friend Alice's birthday. She is in love with the story of Alice in Wonderland, so I've decide to make this for her. There's a lot of mistake in this work, at first the proportions, then I've worked only with the adhesive tape because my glue was over!
So it's a total mistake, but I'm happy of the result in any case, probably it's because of the bright color ahahah!
There is also some particular:

And, at least, the finished work:

Hope you like it!

venerdì 18 aprile 2014

Butterfly Effect

This is the first time I post something in a blog, I hope to learn fast how this site work!
I want to make this like an art blog, so I start with posting my last work:

"Butterfly Effect" in digital technics

The characters are Stephanie and Ania from an Italian comic called Butterfly Effect of Giulia Della Ciana.
I've worked for all the evening and that's the result! I also show you some particoular of the background, just because I've worked a lot on them:

The main theme of the story is Tangled, in fact I've take ispiration from a Disney's concept art of this film, because I sucks at do background (this is the first time I do one like this!). So, I hope to improve (and I hope my English can improve too, ahahah!)

I also leave you some link where you can find me and my art:
Facebook
Twitter
Tumblr
DeviantART

Hope you enjoy my work!
Peace, Love, Rock!
